We are building a multi-brand business, covering staffing and recruitment in the UK. We have established offices in London and Birmingham in the UK, Ahmedabad in India, and Cape Town in South Africa.
Our group buys companies and then has an objective of scaling them at speed. Whilst we are a start-up, we have got 3 brands in the group already. The current brands have small footprints but a lot of potential. Our team is small but growing, and, to take the business to the next level, we are looking for someone to head up and build the team in South Africa.
This role is a member of the senior leadership team, and would be expected to work across all the brands in conjunction with MDs; setting and executing on strategy, hiring and managing the recruitment and resourcing teams and setting up the structures for success.
A track record of leading high performance and high achievement recruitment and staffing teams is crucial. This role will be expected to have a handle of what is going on across all the desks, have experience of billing themselves, so be able to train, guide and drive their teams to hit their objectives. Any operational experience is also a great to have, with an understanding of systems, process and reporting being crucial.
A key part of this role will be to hire and manage well. They will be given a near blank piece of paper to set a personnel strategy alongside in-brand management, and as such will need to have a handle on what structures and procedures work well for high performance in a recruitment and staffing environment.
We are looking to scale our businesses both organically and through acquisition and the team is ambitious and driven. We are a small but highly skilled and growing global team (around 35 FTE globally, 20 in Cape Town) and the ideal applicant for this job is someone who wants to make a difference in a high growth, high performing environment.
Clearly, the candidate will need to be an ambitious recruitment consultant, however a get-your-hands-dirty attitude, a desire to build and dynamism of approach are crucial.
Skills and experience required:

- At least 5 years leadership experience in the recruitment industry
